It's equally awful because he had basically a 99% to 1% split of the fans with Opie. Basically everyone was going to love Anthony no matter what unless he did exactly what he's doing.
I grew up listening to these guys. They made me want to get into radio. They also sold me on how bad of an idea that was, but it's heartbreaking. I wanted to be able to listen to Ant be a weirdo for years. I wanted Jimmy to have somewhere to jump ship to in October!
The Hindenburg was only interesting because it caught fire and smashed into the ground. If it had floated happily no one would care (for those bad at analogies Anthony Cumia is the Hindenburg, and an uneducated alcoholic woman beating white trash wop)
