Opie lovesssssss Chris Rock

Opie loves Chris Rock so much. He's one of his top favorites. How do we know?

Chris Rock (audio from The Oscars opening monologue): this year's 'in memoriam', they're just gonna show pictures of black people who were shot by the police!

Studio laughs and Opie says: "God I love Chris Rock, he's one of my favorites. He's one of the best. That's why I love him so much."

Florentine: yeah that was a funny line. That line has Vos written all over it (Vos was a writer for the oscars this year).

Norton: yeah, that sounded like a Vos line.

Opie (still laughing): yeah, I would bet a lot of money that's a Vos line.

Would ya? You just finished saying how Chris Rock is your favorite comedian after hearing that line, then immediately after Florentine and Norton say it sounds like Vos wrote it, you basically agree with them. Also, if you do agree, then that line isn't a Chris Rock original, but rather a Vos line, so you should give Vos all the credit for it.

Jim's cartoon sucks.

ME: GIVE YOURSELF A UPVOTE!

I liked it. For some reason, I enjoy the slow dissection of Tits' radical stupidity with actual quotes showcasing what a know-nothing, rank moron he is.

ya? ya think he did?

Opie is an opinion sponge... especially now that he has to talk on topics. Ant used to do all that work for him.

Opie is like a vaginal sponge....cuz he soaks up lots of fuckin cum....right Sammmaaayyyy?

Opie feels comfortable saying he loves Chris Rock because Chris Rock is an acceptable comedian to love in other peoples eyes.

Guys like Opie are the reason it can be embarrassing to be associated with other Bill Hicks fans.

Saget was talking Chris Rock, opie said some douchey stuff about him being top 3 or whatever, Saget finishes his touching story about Chris Rock and Dave Chapelle giving him a lot of respect and it gets a zero from Opie because he was saying whats up to one of his guys that had walked into the room. Some comic he just met that I've never heard of.

He is so fucking unaware. One time when Saget was in, you could tell he was kind of emotional about his career and his life. He started to talk really deeply about missing his Mother and sister, and how much he loved the people from Full House and how they were like family. I can't remember what dummy was doing, but he kept cutting in trying to make Bob uncomfortable about the Olsen twins. Bob was really nice and kinda brushed it off, but Opie just couldn't see it. He is and always has been a total idiot.

The guy has the emotional dexterity of a scarecrow.

...and the wardrobe

Like today when he told young Trump his daughter was hot, or hotttt in a creepy voice. He was so unaware why the studio got quiet. I can only imagine the eyes drilling into him.

eyes drilling into him.

How often is Jimmy doing exactly this? It actually pisses me off that Jimmy doesn't just smash him for saying shit like this. Instead of just quietley letting it go, just lay into him. It would certainly make the show a lot better

He didn't go to the canned laughter drop? That's the perfect time for his comedic brilliance

Just heard this, it was infuriating

I've said this before, and it's absolutely true: Opie's opinion on anything is the opinion of whomever spoke immediately before him.

Opie just absorbs people's opinions. Everytime I happen to listen to O and J he does it. Hes weird. He says weird shit to people.

Of course he loves Chris Rock, his cousin is Opie's house nigger.

I was thinking the exact same thing. God damn, is Breasts just not the most hateable person...

I bet Vos will bring that up next time he's on though. He always does.

It's hilarious that opie considers himself a student of comedy. He boldly asserted multiple times on the 3/1 show that Chris Rock is near the top of his list. Wow. You're really going out on a limb there, Opie. Thanks for pointing out this unknown hidden gem of a comedian to us.

He acts similarly with Sam Kinison and Bill Hicks. It's always cringe worthy to listen to him act almost as if he discovered these guys and nobody else knows of them.

And he is the same way with politics. The show is actually somewhat entertaining just to listen to how wretchedly uninformed Opie is, and how quickly his opinion can be swayed by whichever guest is in the studio at the time.

And yes, the cartoon is dreck.

Wait, Vos was writing for the Oscars? He's even more illiterate than Opie.

no he isn't. no one is. not even your garden variety negro.

That line sucked anyway. We get it that any hollywood event is gonna be nothing but white guilt accepting big lipped puckers from any two bit chris tuckers im an extra in the matrix

Which scene were you in?

the scene where someone starts a sentence and ends it with a completely different sentence that makes no sense

I bet Jimmy holds Florentine in very similar regards to Opie.

As major contributors to his career, money and ability to buy hookers?

As somebody that you need to belabour your speech around because they're likely to misunderstand if you speak too quickly or abstractly, giving them license to take you on a journey through their stupid minds about something irrelevant and cringeworthy.

I doubt it. They lived together for awhile and tend to get each other's humor.

Jesus christ. How do you people have time to analyze everything Opie says? He's a freakin radio host not a presidential candidate.
