Exactly. Reddit draws a ton of traffic, so it's an easy place to congregate and no one has told us what we can and can't say so there's no good reason to leave. If the rest of reddit is all PC and SJW about everything, that certainly doesn't seem to fly around these parts.

Despite what people on here say about Reddit, most of the people here check out a few other subs that pertain to their interests, or use it for content and news. Checking Reddit is checking a bunch of shit at once and it's more passive. It's easier to justify than logging into an account on some grim dungeon of a dedicated forum.

Exactly, and if it trailed off into only checking out this sub it probably started out as a regular reddit type of user experience. Most people here probably started out coming to reddit for something else, and figured since reddit is about anything/everything they came to see what people said about the show. Also there are definitely a good portion of people who lurk here, but that's also because they give this sub the most power by talking about it like it's the place where fans talk. The last time they even mentioned Wackbag much less FBA etc was so long ago people forgot they were ever a part of things.

Network effect. More people means livelier conversation. That attracts more people and makes the forum even livelier. Since a lot of people are here, why go elsewhere to do the same thing?
