I want to watch because I haven't seen Chris Rock perform comedy in years & years. I think the last special he had was Kill the Messenger, and it really wasn't very good. It had it's moments, but compared to Chris' other work, very disappointing.
Kill the messenger definitely was his worst, I think if he shot it all in one place and edited it would have flowed alot better, the material wasn't awful or anything. The constant switching of the sets and clothes kinda killed the vibe of getting lost in the flow
He hosted SNL somewhat recently and his monologue was like 10 minutes of new material. I dont remember anything about it except for a few boston bombing jokes but it's there, fyi.
After everybody calling for his boycott because nobody gave a shit about Will Smith making a film about people getting a sore head, I think it might be interesting
