Reasonable dream scenario for the show....

SXM tells opie that they're not interested in doing business with him anymore and offers him some money to PD his channel but stay off the flagship show. The show then becomes Jam in the Morning, the Stangels are long gone, the rest of the crew stays on board. Maybe Jay and Soder come to the channel. Or even best of all (but not quite as reasonable).....Jim + Bonfire becomes the new morning show

no...thats a step in the right direction and I probably would listen on youtube if that miraculously happened. but I think our best bet right now is it all just ending. Jimmy quits. Opie hangs on for a few months and gets cancelled. And Jimmy starts something else with a couple funny guys. sam and jim would be good on the radio but anything with opie involved just needs to die.

I dont know...Jimmy and Ant was always the goal but obviously that probably wouldnt even be good any more...him jay and soder would be great but I'm too pessimistic to see this ever ending well. I would love to be wrong though. If anything a dream scenario would be getting rid of Opie , but theres no way he agrees to stay and be behind the scenes. so that could never happen on sirius

I give up on Anthony. He's used to be like most of us and be "reactively" racist. Nowadays he's "proactively" racist which is just the signs of a real racist. I'm sure with a good talking to, a new president, and Jimmy he can be better but I dunno....he's really tarnished himself. It's fascinating to look back and see Anthony's downward spiral truly correlate directly with Obamas presidency and then slowly get worse and angrier with time

mehhh I dont care that he's a racist but I gave up on him, too. The odds were against him but he failed to rebound worse than I even would have thought and having to do a show from his house has made him terrible. I don't think youre idea of a best case scenario is wrong, I just don't see it happening. Opie will DEFINITELY not accept being behind the scenes. But yeah, if it all turned into J&D&J on whatever platform thatd be awesome, just saying unfortunately I doubt it.

Yeah I doubt it too since Jimmy and Jay are weirdly not friends at all, but if it makes dollars it makes sense(cents) -get it tssss. So you're right, it's almost definite to never happen but when it comes to making the ultimate radio show that can almost mirror o&a - that's the crew.

How about this one? It would pain me to just take Norton out the equation cause he's the GOAT, but how about Jay, Dan, and Normand? That seems very reasonable and would be fucking awesome

I would need Jimmy to really draw me in, but yeah Normand is great and after a few convincing youtube clips that would probably be the only variation of all this crap I could see myself listening to. Jimmy is and has always been the GOAT, I would love if he stayed involved in anything sans Opie, I wish I could see it happening.

The Bonfire / LoS are old news. I never understood everybody jerking each other off about how awesome they were... that shit was always mediocre. The best option for Opie Raqio would be dead air.

Put Opie and Jim out to pasture. Shitcan some of the lesser podcast they're on, and merge LoS and Bonfire into a midday show. Jay and Dan split main hosting duties, let Dave be the Hole/newscaster, and let Luis be producer.

Give the mornings to a mellow show like Bennington.

Norton won't work with Jay and Soder. Jay has a weird vibe with Jim. Sam, Jim, and Anthony could've worked, but Sam and Jim aren't strong enough to hold a crowd, even though they aren't bad together.

I respectively disagree. I know Sam and Jim would crush it together, SAMs actually becoming a seasoned host, and Jam shows were always great. As far as Jim with Bonfire- I don't understand why Jim And Jay never became friends but I doubt it's cause they don't like eachother. Money and a steady gig would ensure that they make it work. You seem to be forgetting that Jim has been able to work with opie all these years including just the 2 of them lately
