there's a really boring dipshit in my office that just nervously laughs throughout group conversations. I think it's for a few reasons:

1. he has nothing to add to the conversation

2. he doesn't want to be quiet and get called out

3. he wants very much for us to think he is comfortable and having a good time

As Hacky, whacky and zany their old shows were I agree with you. Hell I don't even mind some of the old shows. I love when Denny would play his radio history tapes and I get the same feeling listening to old O&A shows from the 90's as I'm sure he does his 'WMCA Good Guys' airchecks.

It's funny I have an old friend on Facebook I knew was a big fan of o and a back in the day and saw he liked an east side Dave post. Well I asked him if he still listens and he said fuck yeah, it sucks any got fired but now I have two great shows to listen to now. I immediately unfriended him

Yeah he's completely discounted. The thing that confuses me is how he doesn't know what he wants to show to be. A mom friendly, semi political, girl talk type show. Or a show that reads news headlines with mediocre comedians. The regulars are Chris Distefano and Sharrod Smalls. I still remember distefano's response to a fan complaining about the show line. You could say that. However, you have to look at both sides of things. Opie does a great job at the radio aspect of things. He complete blew at comedy portion except when he was smashing cakes and shit. He steers the ship well but I do agree there are times he completely wrecks great bits.

Some people keep saying that... he steers the ship well... he doesn't.. he never has.... he constantly steps on things, ruins timing, crashes bits.... the only way that he "steers the ship" is that he loudly proclaims the next topic of coversation regardless of how the current one is going.... he steers the ship right into icebergs repeatedly
