Finally saw Jimmy live last night.

State theater in Portland. Only half full and he wasn't taping anything.
He fucking killed. He was having fun, there was no blinking and I laughed my ass off. He mentioned the cartoon toward the end and said something like "I know people like Chip off the cuff and ad-lib." Then he had people yell out a subject for Chip to riff on.
His opener was a blonde chick named Kelsey. She struggled for a few minutes but turned it around and said some pretty funny shit. Way funnier and more like-able than Amy.

Unlike most people Ive thoroughly enjoyed Jimmy every time Ive gone and seen him live.
I still cant believe someone talked Jimmy into going into Maine in February.

As it happens the seafood was outstanding and not at all overpriced. The parking fee was tolerable. I feel I extracted value for my dollar in Portland.
