How do you think Jim is going to fuck up his podcast?

There's so much potential! He could do a subscription based service like Anthony, it could have a pointless video element that distracts from the actual broadcasting like Anthony, he could have way too many people on like Bobby, he could try and do an overly serious interview show like Maron, he could do a call in show in which he pontificates and gives out advice about things he knows nothing about like he already does. I hope this podcast turns out great but I'm afraid that our favorite neurotic worm will over complicate things when all he needs to do is have one or two of his comic friends on each episode and make dumb jokes.

He's gonna do typical Jimmy things like pontificating about topics he has no knowledge of, giving slimy middle road opinions no one cares about, giving life advice about things he's never experienced, and having unfunny chick comics on in an attempt to fuck them

He could have something great if he teamed up with some of his comedian friends that are on his level like Vos and Bobby but you just know it's either going to be him talking to himself with an occasional guest interview or him and some talentless hanger on co-host. All people really want is to hear comedians hanging out and being funny but almost every comedian that starts a podcast has to do something other than that.

If he were smart he'd just do a show with Bobby or Colin, and have the odd guest. But no, like the other guy said, he'll have a bunch of unfunny comediennes and he'll try to interview serious people in a vain attempt to make people think he's an intellectual.

You think Bobby is willing to give up paid comedy gigs or start doing a new show, with just Jimmy, when he has his own network and a show with minimum 6 guests? Vos ain't leaving Oqieradio/Bonnie, Colin is too cool for regular podcasting, Keith Robinson had a stroke, Patrice is dead, etc..... Jim should do a hangout show with Anthony 1-2 days per week, and Anthony needs to quit all social media....period!

It all starts with the desk. If he doesn't get the desk right, the whole podcast will be shit. He should go through as many iterations of desks as he needs until he finds the right one - even custom make it, if he has to.

What Jim or Ant need is a cohost that is a normal person who has genuine interests/hobbies and brings it to the show. Someone who can take a joke which means not a woman (even if the woman isn't sensitive, Jim/Ant won't go there in hopes of fucking them one day). If they are kind of funny themself, even better.
Otherwise, they revert to talking about the news and the same 2 dated topics that interest them and bores everyone else to tears.

My guess is that he'll turn the entire thing into one big sales pitch. The days Opie is not in, Jimmy just fucking rambles. The Chip Chipperson infomercial that happened the last time Opie was out was hard to listen to and went on forever. For as much as we all hate Opie (and we do all hate him, right?), Jim is a directionless ass without him. He does fine on his advice show because all he is doing is taking calls, but I'm very skeptical he can actually fill a podcast with interesting content.
