I would rather watch Jay Mohr and Anthony do Dice impressions

I like him in this scene, the bit where he goes "You being serious!" makes me laugh

He needed the money?

Looks good. Natasha Leggero is such a babe.

Will torrent.

Well at least it's better than the Chip cartoon.

Dice is a really tough to package product. They already tried something along these lines with VH1 a few years back, "do you REMEMBAAAH?" I love Dice to death but I have zero interest in this. (Nice Tangiers/Casino reference) He's just one of those guys, like what do you do with him? It's great when he pops up in stuff as himself, I loved his little arc on the final season of Entourage and he was great in that Woody Allen movie. But anything that's just him on his own gets tiresome immediately.

His son Max does stand up now and he's getting pretty good. I see him at the open mic's a couple times a week. He's kind of a weirdo but seems like a good dude, and paying his dues/taking the long way around, not taking advantage of his pop's name, which is admirable. (Usually goes up as "Max S.")

This show looks like just an extension of his part in Entourage. Which should be funny. Waiting for a Drama cameo.

That's not what the show is, it's gonna be more of The Wrestler meets Californication. You don't need to understand Dice to get the appeal of the show, he's gonna be a guy stuck out of time and there's a family angle, that tends to click pretty easily. It's a showbiz show and I think it's interesting seeing that premise applied to stand-up, they will probably address how his old act doesn't transfer to modern audiences and I'd like to see that transition.

I think it would almost work better for a completely fictional comic, or someone that was like a Dice-esque character instead of Dice himself. Not only are people generally tired of that persona, but it makes the line between fiction and reality too confusing. I mean god bless him, I hope it's a big hit, I still love him. I just don't see this working.

All it's missing is the sound of the needle scratching the record.

abooooooooo

after watching jimmy's little project's trailer this is comedy genius

10 bucks says Jimmy will do a scene for this show but it ends up on the cutting room floor just like the rest of his friends projects.

good for Dice, doesn't look particularly amusing but whatevs.

He's also going to be in that new Vinyl show by Scorcsese and that guy who created Boardwalk on HBO

Fucking douche chills

If you say anything then you'll beg me to die, then I'll make you suck my dick and nut in your eye.

I'm not old enough to have watched Dice in his prime or anything. Anthony's impressions are my first exposure actually. I pulled up a youtube clip of him very young doing that cigarette thing behind the neck. I guess for the times it was funny.

But then every other time I saw a clip of him, not even that many years after...he was just whining. About how he's not as famous as he used to be or whatever.

I think patrice said dices crowd work was amazing. Man I watched his shit and i swear to god it was awful.

I mistook Wayne Newton for Jackie Mason for the split second he was on

His wife is way hotter then she should be. This looks awesome if you ask me. Love Dice.

I got da Showtime hat!

"Maybe you forgot I'm from Brooklyn."

"You're from Brooklyn?"

"Yeah."

I kept waiting for the punchline, but I guess it was that little "yeah".

I'm ovah here now... on Showtime.

AGHOOOSH! AGHOOOSH!

Am I the only one who thinks this looks good and will do well?

SO IM HANGING OUT WITH THESE FAGS

That English guy who was also in Kimmy Schmidt.. Fuck that guy. He's extremely annoying. He's like a straight feminist Milo Yiannopolous.

Who heard anything?!?

Ya hear?!?! Ya hear?!?

......I hear ya

I can't even think of anything to make fun of. Zero appeal.

I remember seeing an animated show making fun of how washed up Dice was.

That show?

The Critic.

A washed up show that everyone forgot about made fun of Dice for being a washed up comic that everyone forgot about.

When are we going to leave this man to die?
