What, in your opinion, would be the best thing for Jim to make a go of?

Looking for serious answers, but obviously expecting the expectable (its a word now, motherfuckers).
He's always going on about how he wants SOMETHING that he can call his own in his career, which is obviously where this cartoon came from. Personally I liked it for what it was, but I'm still not even entirely sure what he's trying to do. Just webisodes like this? FOR 200,000?! Try 50,000. At a push...because you have somewhat of a name. A decent animator could provide you with that level of animation, and I know for a fact I could get what we saw today done on my own for less than $5,000. I could animate it myself in a week of full-time work. But he wont of asked someone who made an awesome looking animation on the internet (because I'm pretty sure he said he hates animation) - so he'll of went to some snobby high-street studio, or google searched somebody who is trying to make a proper full-time living out of it. I'd understand if it looked like The Simpsons, but it didn't. It looked nice, and it was a quirky and fun style. Perfect for the internet. I didn't hate it. The money involved just had my mind boggled. I guess a large part of it will be his wage, or something.
TL;DR: What do you think Jim could honestly start up that would completely fit him, his comedy, and give him something he can eventually monetize.

I hear good things about Bloomingdales' Executive Training program.

Y'know he's given this comedy thing his best shot. Yeah, he had some good observations, but it's over. Now, this Bloomingdale thing, that could be the next wave.

3-5 day a week radio show or paid podcast with a rotating cast of Bobby, Colin, vos etc. instead of crowdfunding a cartoon he could have monthly cartoons of uncle Paul/chip/based off the riffing that he does with other comedians as a "best of" and put it on YouTube to draw in potential listeners. Jimmy does better doing a daily show, and it could sorta be like his version of tough crowd and it would feature his cartoons.

He should either officially add his name to the Opie and Jimmy show or do a show with Bob Kelly.

Milk the Opie gig for all it's worth. Then, use his friendly comedy connections to get a gig as a table writer for one of their shows.

He should do a remake of Quincy with Asian Ant as Sam.

My answer is the obvious: his OWN podcast. I'm COMPLETELY uneducated on the prices of audio equipment, etc, but I also know that I didn't donate to his cartoon - but I'd donate to a fundraiser to get our little boy his own studio. I have a feeling that at this point, without the severe alcoholism and lack of imagination he'd do a better LFTC show than what Ant's turned out to be. The only none fun in Ant's house is when the camera's are on. Which is the irony.

Have you ever heard him do an interview? Or even worse, SEEN him do one? A podcast? Christ, that's the fucking LAST thing he should be doing.

Not every podcast has to be the sleeping pill format. You've immediately gone for what he'd go, and fail for. Use a tiny bit of imagination, and work the podcast around the vibe that he was good at in O&A. Combative comedian banter.

In settings where he is the "Center" of the environment, he fails (imo). Add to that his recent spinelessness re: Schumer, and the fact that there is a glut of comics doing podcasts...I stand by my original statement.

There's reason they all do it. Because they can all do it independently, with their own fanbase and still make money.
