It's inconsistent but when it's good, it's really fucking good.
People that complain about that inconsistency, btw, are looking back on O&A with rose-colored glasses. Often times, out of 4 hours on air, O&A would be 3 hours of awful celebrity interviews and ill-informed sports talk. Yet we still listened every day.
100% this. O&A's clips were being passed around for years in the early internet days, but I think once most of their best stuff became available on youtube it made tuning in live and hearing repetitive race rants and twitter talk seem unbearable.
When Legion of Skanks is running on all cylinders, it's great, much like the old O and A hangs with comics during the end of the old shows. Funny, irreverent, etc....
Now, they're all spread too thin, with the close to a dozen other Tv/podcast projects they're attached to.
I mean...the ficus of their podcast is totally original -- mediocre comedians without any marquee achievements endlessly discussing & analyzing the "art" of stand-up comedy...they're trailblazers... right?
Los can be great, but I think people who are high and drunk think the things they are saying are more funny and interesting than they are. Just get high and drunk before you listen
There's no reason to like it. Big Jay is the talent and Gomez and Smith are zeroes. The Bonfire is superior because it's two genuinely funny comics riffing off one another as opposed to one funny comic wearing cement shoe one and two.

I used to ask that about Ron and Fez. Some things are just worth getting used to.

Age thing...I'd guess most of us 40+ feel like it's the kind of shit we'd have loved in our 20's, but feels forced & lame now that we're older.

Because they're easily amused. I gave it a chance, and just couldn't. It's shit.

LoS used to be relatively funny. Before Luis and Dave got their unwarranted, 'hey I'm in the business too!' Attitudes.

Big Jay is funny, Luis can be funny, Dave is annoying as fuck to me and I'm not even sure why he's there.

Dave's definitely funny. He'll have a couple of lines an episode. He leans on the Luis impression a bit much.

I agree. Dave is extremely hit or miss, and when he misses he fucking bombs big time.
1 deegan258 2016-02-10
Dave is not as funny as the others, but he can be a good grounding force for other people when they go off-topic, and he can snipe well.

It has been shit for a good few months.

LOS sounds like abunch of 18 year olds bragging about smoking weed for two hours. Isn't Jay like 40?

Used to be fantastic, think it ran its course
Did I win?

It's a dreadful show, I don't get it either. Same goes for ESD.
2 nazicumfarts 2016-02-10
ESD is the worst thing I have ever heard. Absolute dogshit.

It's hit or miss for me depending entirely on the guest.
