i only discovered O&A three years ago. Google isnt helping me. i remember hearing a show where it must have been shortly after 9/11 as it was all that was mentioned. but im wondering if any hardcore fans know what show was closest or (being a morning show) were they on air when it went down.

Yes, I listened live.
It was completely uncensored and callers were giving updates and personal experiences of the day.
It is an amazing listen and really brings you back to that day and the uncertainty that surrounded it.
Definitely worth your time.

They were on wnew in the afternoons then, and yes they were on the air. I believe from a radio station over in jersey.
