The Opester is addicted to therapy.

His wheedling and whining about his needs and his emotional state on a comedy show is indicative of a person who has become so desensitized to personal mortification that they turn coworkers into their psychiatrists. Pretty soon every workday will become like Opies own little "meeting my needs" retreat-weekend and he'll curl up under the console until Jimmy coaxes him out to pummel some velour pillows that represent Ant and Reddit and Funniness.

He's never been to therapy, I bet you a buck

I've never seen a man who likes talking about himself as much, lie about everything coming out of his mouth and still it doesn't sound interesting to anybody.

You are so wrong. I feel so bad for his doctor...s. Yeah probably more than one.

Opie a liar? That's poppycock.

Language !

He's only playing the therapy angle because Howard does it. Difference being, Howard actually goes to a therapist. Thats why hes not such a big sociopath like the actor Gregg "Opie" Hughes

He shows the signs of someone who has been to several therapists, but finds a reason to drop each one as soon as they move to make him confront himself instead of just being a place for him to vent. He probably doesn't understand the goal of self-awareness via confronting yourself, or just isn't capable of it - meaning he is technically "capable" but most people with that amount of money also surround themselves with yes men and justify their personality by the money they have earned.

I'm sure he's spent thousands and says that "it's not working" when they discuss personal accountability and desired outcomes that involve making changes.

He has spent years in therapy. However, it didn't take. He's still so, so angry at mommy.

Therapy is for weak assholes. Sociopathy and Desensitization is the best way to deal with life's little foibles.

Irrational anger at events beyond your control helps too.

if your description of therapy is using a breast pump to keep his shirt from being stained from leaky nipples, then sure he probably does have therapy in-between commercial breaks. lots of it

Mama Hughes never met his needs and Papa Hughes clearly never taught him how to meet his own needs, so he looks to everybody else to fill the gigantic void within himself. He is a sad, empty shell of a human

comedy show...lol

It's the only time anyone actually listens to him.

The advice show.

Therapy? All in with the therapy?
