Look, if you don't look like you work out, don't talk about working out. If you have no muscles, like Opie and Jim, don't talk about lifting weights. Nobody cares or believes you anyway. If you're spending all this time in the gym and allegedly curling with 50s and you still have a mediocre at best body, just stop. Go home and eat ice cream because you're doing something wrong and you'll get the same lousy results anyway.

I'm sure he is lying somehow, I would guess he doesn't benchpress at all but it'd be pretty hard to be that weak and not be like 90 pounds or 100 year old man.

yeah I know a couple of guys who brag about how much they bench and it's really an arm press machine. Basically the same machine my nana uses at the home.

As long as we're talking that fitness the Op has to walk his bike up the steep hill. Now I have no idea how steep the hill is but I do know if you're rocking a 'hybrid' as the opster reps and you're on pavement you should just about to be able to ride up the side of a building let alone anything in manhattan, unless you're a total spaz who isnt comfortable changing gears or climbing out of the saddle.

IN MY LIFE i have not seen someone put the little 5lb plates at the end of a bar with a 45 on each side. and all gyms always have a couple weirdos, usually older men, who do weird goofy shit and spend the rest of the time staring at younger men. still never seen this.

if you're "repping" this weight, why not "rep" 135 and save the time? seriously nobody does this. i have never seen the little plates used on a bench unless it's a woman working out with her boyfriend, and the little plates are loaded first so it's faster to strip the big ones off when it's time for her.
