When that movie came out, everyone was calling fat white girls "white precious". Did he really think that was a stroke of quick-witted, comededic genius? I guess when the rest of your material is so mediocre, you have to go with the safe bet for your title and closing joke.

He did love that title. He was either going to make that the name of his first special or Amy's memoirs.

I've only seen White Precious but I don't think I laughed at any of the jokes. It wasn't terrible but I didn't really enjoy it. What are some of the jokes that you found especially funny in it?

I'd really have to watch it again to highlight my favorite bits but I was pretty impressed from start to finish. Actually just started playing it as I type this and the opening joke about the hipster in the sailor hat trying to get pussy is funny. I'm sure I could sit here and do a play by play but yeah, it's good stuff. Subjective of course, but I just don't see how comedy fans could think he sucks.

Somehow it's still rated 3/5 on Amazon. It does seem to have dipped recently, but I have the feeling it's could go down a little bit more. I don't know if posting Amazon links is against the rules, but I'll try it: White Precious

I guess it just doesn't appeal to my sense of humor because I didn't think that was funny at all. I'm trying to watch these clips with an open mind but the material just doesn't resonate with me.

White Precious is one of the only stand-up specials I paid money for on the day it came out, and I don't regret it one bit.
