Which comedians who have defended her do you consider great? Serious question. All of the ones I can think of saw their best days a decade ago or more.
Just because their best days are behind them doesn't immediately remove them from the greats. That's like saying Michael Jordan couldn't possibly the NBA's GOAT because he is retired.
I give the D.A. credit for getting that much to stick. This whole thing has turned political. The Mayor was here - the chief - the Governor called this morning, for Christ's sake. This guy is protected from up on high by the prince of fucking darkness.
I think it's because they don't see it as that much of a big deal. Same way with the Dane Cook stuff from ~7-8 years ago. Did any major comic make a big deal out of that, either?
(I'm legit asking, as I don't remember, outside of random internet videos)
Because, as of right now, she is the anointed one. She has a hit movie under her belt, a regular TV show and she sells out major events.
Wait until this scandal reaches a fevered pitch and she has that "stink." Hollywood won't think twice about her and everyone will drop her like the bag of shit she truly is.

Because just like cops they tend to defend bad ones. And why??? Because theyre afraid they will be found out for the jokes THEY stole.
