Kevin Hart knows the end is coming and he knows how Hollywood uses and throws away, he has stated several times that he will try to fit as many projects as he can to get money while it's up for grabs. Nothing wrong with that.
Nothing wrong with selling your soul and artistic integrity for money? Nothing wrong with saturating the film market with fecal matter, year after year?
Nope, he was never that type of comedian, we have had several shitty actors saturate the market for years, atleast this comedian is funny, it's self-deprecating humor. Artist integrity? Hollywood? nope.
If you can't stand people who sell their soul for artistic integrity you need to start a campaign to ruin every single person in hollywood. Being a sell out isn't frowned upon in modern day culture it's supported.
David Cross made most of his money from the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise. Same with Patton Oswalt and Ratatouille. Patrice was in fucking Furry Vengeance. Even Pryor starred in a good deal of dogshit movies in his time, unabashedly for the payday. If Carlin or Hicks were offered a shoe deal they would've taken it too. Just how it goes.
Yep. Jimmy can say how Carlin was never real about himself on stage and Pryor was but at least George wasn't a phony do anything for money faggot like those two.
Come to think of it, didn't Carlin actually star in a pretty standard shitty mid-90s sitcom, where he owned a bar/diner or something? I don't remember it vividly, but IIRC it was fairly mediocre.
Oh yeah, not saing he didn't give shit the occasional try but in his daughters book she talks about how they offered him to be in a lot of shitty movies and were offering him pretty big money and he'd turn it down to focus on standup and writing.
He's gettin his money while he can, if you're gonna hate him hate him for getting all the attention he doesn't deserve and most of all hate the retarded hood fucks and suburban white dudes that think he's the best standup ever.
I don't like his movies either but until he actually does something wrong you can't "go after" him. He is trying to make as much money while he still can, so that when he's no longer a superstar he will be able to still provide opportunity for his friends and family. Being aware that he has an optiony to make a lot of money off his name isn't a schmuck move, just don't go see those buddy cop movies you don't like so much.
Speaking of, isn't he doing a 3rd buddy cop movie with Seth Rogan? That one is supposed to be based in the 40s, about the first interracial cop partners ever. That actually sounded pretty good, and all this is probably just a great way to hype the buddy cop film to end buddy cop films.
I like Kevin hart, but he just announced he has his own shoe coming out which is retarded. The thing is Kevin hart is a considerably better comic than schumer, and he's much more famous. He's been accused of having his writers steal from open mixers, but good luck trying to come up with some proof

He's the first comedian to ever get his own signature shoe. He is single handedly trying to put comedians on the same level as professional athletes, which would completely change the game and make being a "Comic" a viable life choice option that won't get you mocked at the thanksgiving table by your family.
And you think that's retarded. That's pretty retarded of you.

To be fair Carlin did turn down the leading roles in a bunch of comedy movies.

Huh, didn't know that. Exception to the rule then, I suppose.

He did the Bill & Ted movies...

I didn't say he didn't do some things for money. I said he wouldn't take every single paycheck offered to him.

I doubt Hicks would do that. Have you heard his bit about advertising, or Jay Leno?

Jimmy, you really have to get over this...

Robert De niro would sell watches on QVC for the right amount of money.

He has a huge black following who would go to see him no matter what. This shit only works on white people. Plus Kevin Hart is much funnier.

Kevin Hart seems like a swell guy to me, no ax to grind there.

He came up with Big Jay and Metzger. They joke about his success, but to their credit they don't seem overly jealous.
