Mythbusters, the Americans, and P&Ts Bullshit have all presented totally real, almost 100% foolproof ways to fool a polygraph. They're garbage. However, if she fails, it would be very funny.
That they're garbage is so ingrained in common knowledge now, it's embarrassing even suggesting it. It's not like one of those things you're not sure of and need snopes to verify. Tons of huge movies and TV shows mention it. She's really fucking desperate.
