Hinata was never meant to be super beautiful. It's made clear that she's supposed to be really plain in part 1, and she even got teased for having the Byakugan. I think that's what makes her and Naruto's little love story unique. He was considered gross and annoying as a kid, and she was weird and plain looking, so they're like two outcasts that found each other blah blah.

But I agree, I'm really glad Himawari has it now. I personally think she would have looked cute with white eyes like her mama.

We still haven't seen Boruto with a Byakugan though. You'd think if he had one it would have activated by now. He's like 13.

There was nothing wrong with the logic of the fight, it was just a silly little fight from an arc with a lot of silly fights.

Think of it this way, these are not master-level Jonin fighting each other. These are Genin. It's gonna be sloppy, and there's gonna be bush league mistakes and flukes. Especially with ninjas like Naruto and Kiba, who were pretty undisciplined at that time.
