Sirius execs weren't even that mad at Anthony after things blew over which was mentioned several times, in some interview it was quoted that the door was not closed for Anthony just slightly open by a sirius CEO. No, one beer with Opie would not get his job back. But he did not even attempt to go the route of getting his job back when there was a window where it could've happened. Instead Keith convinced him to go full on (Anthony credits Keith with this in ZOO ZAZOO podcast on him after being asked a question, on YouTube).. every single time Anthony trashes Opie or SXM his buddy and self proclaimed PR guy has more job security. Sirius knows how big a comeback would've been for them, if Anthony couldve gotten back on good terms with Opie, shown some humility (whether it was genuine or not just do it to get the gig back) and appease the Sirius execs by showing that he was willing to tone down the divisive pontification on politics and race... all of the pieces would've been in place for Bob Eatman or an agent to work him back into a contract.

We don't know if it would've worked or not, but it would've improved the fuck out of Live from the Compound and early Compound TACS episodes had we seen Anthony putting effort into keeping things comedy based and putting fire into the show instead of just going full on into everything Sirius hated about him, practically out of spite, and just coasting along. Keith also knows that he would be out on his ass except for the little security company he has, and driving ant to work, because he turned away from his job September 2014 (Keith says this in his AMA in /r/tacsdiscussion) for good... so he's never going to encourage Anthony to do anything at all to go back to O&A, he will push him further and further from it. He's a cancer for Anthony. It is indeed possible that we could have seen a different outcome, had that dirtbag leech not been around to see a huge payday out of all of this for himself and capitalize on a down on their luck friend to get it.
