what? when did Opie own a radio station? after he gets his comm degree he got radio jobs. he wrote wacky, terrible bits that went nowhere and he went through 4 Ants. you may think that's work ethic. i would call it having an easy radio gig and being mediocre at it. then Ant shows up and makes something of his show. i highly doubt Opie has ever worked over 40 hours in his life. i would bet he rarely worked over 30 hours. Same with Ant (except for his HVAC days)
If it was Ant's show chances are it would have been exactly like his current show and would never have gained a listenership. If it wasn't for the fact that people already knew and liked Ant nobody would be listening to his show now. It isn't even funny most of the time and the guests are terrible. It's Fast Times at Ridgemont High impressions, a review of his tweets from the night before, Fox News bullet points, some race shit and then Bob Levy or some comic nobody heard of.
