I think people hate Sherrod based on his appearances on the show. He shouts out stuff and makes noises while other people are talking, and he ALWAYS makes everything a race issue. For example, he argued for many minutes that Cleopatra was black. If I have to explain why that is dumb, I would advise others that you are as well.

I believe many people find Sherrod hateable as well, because he physically assaulted another comic over a joke. How is somebody like that actually likeable?

I know comedy is subjective, but Sherrod isn't funny to most people, and he didn't get where he is at(not that high) because of his talents. It's because of his cousin who is Chris Rock.

Most importantly, I think people hate him because he has no qualities that are admirable. Patrice was black, and generally liked a lot on this sub because he was a funny, good person. Sherrod just sort of sucks.

Even as a longtime listener of Race Wars, I'm having to give up as Sherrod becomes increasingly awful.

Nothing to contribute, shouting nonsense when everybody else is just having a conversation at a normal volume like adults, literally wrong in every argument (I suspect this last part might be "a bit" he is doing, playing the role of an antagonist to keep discussions going, but I don't know if he's that smart and it's certainly not entertaining). That Cleopatra thing was my breaking point.

He really is wrong in most of the shit he argues. Then he just yells out like "NOPE! Who made you an expert. Just because you enslaved us years ago, doesn't mean I have to listen to you now. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

People didn't hate Patrice so that should end that theory right there. I'm sure there's some people who dislike him because of his blackness, but I think it mostly comes down to him being a bit annoying. I don't mind him on race wars though and tbh I haven't even listened to an hours worth of Sherrod on O&J.

Biggest difference here is that they still found Patrice funny even if they got tired of him. Nobody finds Sherrod funny.
