I would assume based on the cost analysis people have done in this and the TACs sub. they need at least 10,000+ subs to not be hemorrhaging money doing this.

And as much as Gavin might like Ant, he never would have signed on if Ant had less than 10,000 subs, because Gavin usually would get that much when he did a podcast for free.
