The crash sound effects were worse than his awful jokes. He got a few chuckles from people. He's not a comedian though so he wasn't in his natural element.
It's not even a valid excuse. Celebrities kill at comedy central roasts all the time even if it's just reading a script that comedy writers make for them. Ant arrogantly thought he was funny enough to write himself a set for a roast full of comedians and not have it blow up in his face.
