Well the way I see it, even if she made a miraculous recovery, regained her sanity & health, she would immediately go back to drinking every day. She's doomed.

There's a 25% chance she will have no improvement. But she's so far gone I think she might be in the worst case scenario camp.

I'm guessing cirrhosis -> hepatic encephalopathy. Probably taking lactulose multiple times per day to keep her ammonia levels down. The side effect of ammonia btw is terrible diarrhea. So she's this bloated failing liver patient shitting herself constantly probably not aware of where she is. Sad and all self inflicted.

God I love that fucking disaster of a human being. I read about her alcohol induced dementia. 25% recover fully. 50% show improvement. And 25% are permanently like that.

I would assume she's a bad case. Listening to old recordings makes me think she's had a mild version of it for years. She couldn't even remember the intervention the show organized for her. That was a few years ago and she never stopped drinking.

I guess the alcohol causes a thiamine deficient and the brain is not able to produce every.

Poor old lady. I hope she dies and Marion can rant about it for a couple of horrible hours on the show.
