If I had to guess I would say it was mutual combat. Who started the fight? I would guess that, based on the police report which said Dani discovered another one of Anthony's girlfriends, Dani got pissed off or jealous and gave Anthony some shit about his side chick which rapidly escalated. Their cell phones were broken which easily could have been caused by her throwing one or both phones at Ant. Anthony probably told her to fuck off and leave, she got angry and started acting crazy and throwing more shit or something physical. In the squabble that ensued she suffered injuries from Anthony restraining her.
Either that or Anthony beats his women. Honestly it could go either way. Anthony's on a bad run the last two years so who knows?
I think they hit eachother and she was initially looking for this scenario to play out. She still lives in his apartment ffs. It is his fault for being a stubborn idiot and still dating her.
The fact she's still in his apartment makes me think she instigated the whole thing for some kind of payday or way to punish/embarrass Ant. I'm not saying he didn't hit her, but she definitely put herself purposefully in that situation and pushed his buttons to cause a shitstorm.
Unless there's surveillance video of the whole incident, no one—aside from those who were there—will ever know what really happened. That being said, I think it's likely there was a physical altercation between the two of them. I think it's more likely that Dani started it (slapped, kicked, or punched Ant) and Anthony either retaliated or injured her while attempting to restrain her. I don't think he simply battered her because of an argument. Still, I have no way of knowing what really happened.
My guess is she went after him at some point (possibly premeditated as he had already cast her aside.) She pretty much said in the Periscope how she was pissed at him about lying about another chick.
He probably grabbed her to stop her in some kind of choke hold, hence the "strangulation." At some point they hit the ground or slammed up against a wall and his weight combined with her 85 pound frame probably broke her rib.
