There have been arrests, fights, relationships (personal, proffesional, domestic) ruined, breakdowns, twitter wars, contract signings, a podcast goldrush, heart attacks, retirements, hypnosis, parties at moontowers (OK, those last few were just Fez. Miss you budday)

But had this not happened what would we find today? A daily show that was fake to the core, Cronuts, 90 Day fiance, "Get Over It"? A Ron and Fez show? A much more broke and deservedly less confident Luis J Gomez? Stangles? Nopie shows with Pete Davidson? And the Doc series, WHAT. ABOUT. THE. DOC. SERIES.

I vividly remember what this place was like in the before time, the long, long ago, and it was only slightly less hostile to all three of them than it is now. Opie was beginning to get shit and would have only gotten more, people were bitching more and more about Ant's politics and shitting on Jim's stand-up and half-assed pontificating. I do miss the Roland hate tho.

Leading up the firing /u/opiesucks posts were downvoted to the bottom. Ant would get shit occasionally regarding his rants, but talking shit about Jim was less accepted here here than raping young children.

I remember this sub before Sam ever mentioned it on the show. Just fans sharing old clips, and helping each other build their show archives. People were nice to each other and most of the show comments were positive. Opie didn't get hate. It was much different times.
