The thing is, between 08 and 12 they could still pull in great comics -- some of Louis Ck's best shows were 08-09 -- and Patrice was an obvious and strong counterbalance. Which actually made the show pretty strong and interesting.

I started listening to them when they started on XM and literally one week before Ant got fired I finally said fuck it I can't take this anymore and decided instead of bitching about it I'll just not listen as he had so eloquently suggested on the show so many times.

I still enjoy Ant's show, I think its good. I always thought his political and racial rants worked better on O&A because Jimmy would often challenge him. It made for a real honest conversation.

Since 2014 I've said the only chance of me ever listening to him again is if he can manage to get hired by another company, be it tv, radio, or whatever. I was never sure what the odds of that happening were, but theyve since become pretty clear that theres no chance in hell.

That's actually a big part of it. As long as he's his own boss, he will continue to wallow.

If Anthony wants to make it, he should just end his show and concentrate on building the network. Advise the other shows without getting too involved...an occasional guest spot does no harm, but stop being such an exhibitionist and the center of attention. Recognize good potential talent (Zac Amico) and work on the technical end to make the platform stronger and more stable. A name change would probably help as well. Ant in many ways is a really smart guy, but just can't get out of his own way...he needs to step down and at least try to salvage some dignity.
