This whole uninvited thing is because of Burr and Opie.

Anthony let his relationship with Burr go to hell because of a lack of contact(apparently), and he's got his wife(and NOW Von) in his ear AGAINST Anthony. Opie is a cunt; and probably to make Opie happy so that at least ONE member of the O&A team is there(besides Jimmy), you cut Anthony to bring Opie. Burr already has his own problems with Ant, and so do people directly related to Bill's life. Opie is pretty much in the clear with Von, Bur and his wife, so it's less of a hassle if he comes, more if he doesn't(could also cause issues with being on O&J, so there's that).

It seems to be a conspiracy against Ant, but it's one he deserves because of his own lifestyle and inability to reach out to people. IF he had more of a social/personal connection with Burr/Von, they'd both be invited, with Opie pulling himself out of coming because of his own cunty-ness, which would look worse on him than anything.

Is there any evidence of Von saying anything? She seemed happy to beg for money on his show a few months ago.

I guess she denied Ant's racism with her own reasoning that Ant doesn't mean all black people, and that he used to be Patrice's friend. She's probably changed her attitude since then, after that audio came out of what he said during the first Dani fight, coupled with the domestic dispute charge.

Ant doesn't seem to understand that sometimes having some tact is better than being "open and honest". Even after being uninvited, maybe making some personal calls and expressing his disappointment privately is a better play than blowing every relationship up on that air and on twitter. He was so ahead going into the Christmas break and it's like he can't help himself. There's a way to have an edge to your comedy without being a total antisocial ass.

Jimmy had announced he was leaving, tension came to a head and exposed Opie, and he was signing ESD in Jan, with a whole network up and running. Now he's got this, LOS possibly leaving, and any hope of Jimmy joining obliterated. You're right: he was so ahead before he screwed himself again. He's gotta work out his shit.

I think it's the whole group (Jimmy, Voss, Bobby) going the "tough love" route to get him to stop drinking and being so self destructive. I'm sure Jimmy would be going full bore into getting Ant to go to rehab, but he has to get that Afrin addiction under control first.

It's probably just Burr (or whoever made the decision) thinking that too many people (vinnie, derosa, opie etc.) might have an issue with Ant attending the event, so fuck Ant.
