Amy Pohler and Tina Fey could be one of the greatest comedy and character writers in recent times. Wrote for Tracy Morgan on both SNL and on 30 rock, wrote Alec Baldwins character on 30 rock (fucking insanely funny character).
Look at Parks and Rec, the different types of personalities of the characters is amazing and it doesn't work anywhere else. Nick Offerman isn't funny but Ron Swanson is.
