He's not that entertaining alone, his entertainment value is severely tied to whatever guest he has or if there is Opie drama. His show is boring and all the rest of the shows on his network will still be around and will be free if TACN ever goes under. I don't care about TACN or if he is successful with it. However I only enjoy him failing as long as he has a show that he has to try and do, once he loses that, I wish him well and will forget about him

A few weeks ago, Anthony wasn't hilariously falling apart, he had hit a ledge during his plummet the bottom, and was surviving nicely. So wishing ill to Ant a few weeks ago would have just distracted from talking shit about ole furrytits, who obsessively reads every word here, and was stroking himself until I pointed this out.

It truly is bizarre because the Opie vs Jim fight seemed to be the moment where it looked like Anthony was going to come out of all of this the winner and Tits was going to end up morning zoo'ing his career the rest of the way.

Anthony is a self destructive idiot. He's entertaining as fuck (when he was on O&A) to listen to, but he really wanted to go down in flames. He never really believed he deserved the success he had so he keeps destroying it.

He was coming back from the firing and looked to have Jim on his side for a venture that would've made Tits look like the smallest piece of shit in the business. Jim & Ant might've even ended up with a Sirius-like deal on another platform. But then Ant burned it all down. It's what he does.

I just don't know why he hasn't grown out of this. In my 20's I enjoyed fucking crazy hot broken toys of women. There was drama all the time. They were hot in a needy fucked up way. They would let you do ridiculous things to them in bed and basically lived to be dominated by you. You could call them nasty things in bed and dress them up any way you wanted to. But I eventually grew up and grew out of it when the last crazy girl I was fucking would cut herself when she couldn't see me as much as she wanted to. Showing up to fuck her and seeing the cuts on her body snapped me the fuck out of it. I couldn't help her. I tried to tell myself my spending time with them would save these girls in my own fucked up way, but that was bullshit I was telling myself. It was a pattern I had to stop for myself because none of those relationships were healthy. I can't believe Anthony, with all he has on the line, hasn't grown out of it. It says a lot about his character and the lack of humanity to surround yourself with very young women who need professional help. He's never going to kick this. There will be another Dani. There always be another landmine. If there's not a loud boom and smoke clearing every 6-12 months in his life, he doesn't know what to do.

This is really the gist of his being. He's naturally such a funny, quick and clever guy, and when he's on, he really is someone special.

But he's incredibly self-destructive, too. It's almost like he tries to get heat back on himself right after he gets into a sweet spot in life and garners the goodwill of his fans. It's a subconscious effort to destroy anything he built up. This and the firing aren't the only times this happened. If he was not so fucking desperate to not work for a living installing ACs, then he probably would have fucked up that job too and ended up on welfare or in jail or dead from alcohol.

His subconscious mind isn't able to handle when things are going well because he was brought up in a fucked up household, so he has to create drama and bring things back down to the level he knew growing up. He's succeeded in spite of himself.

And it's not something you grow out of. It's who he is as a person. Legitimate therapy would probably help, but as a self-destructive person, it's near impossible for him to even bring himself to the point of facing the underlying issues. He needs constant noise and craziness around him. It's why he is always watching tv and leaves it on to go to sleep. it's why he's petrified of getting high, because it will likely cause him to come face to face with his inner workings and he might have a meltdown. And it's why he dates crazy girls. He invents drama for himself because its all he knows.

This is pretty much correct. Although I don't know how much of the "Cumia fortune" he still has -- he seems like he spends pretty extravagantly. I suspect it's well over $5 million, though, which means that he probably has more than enough to stay off of the street. Also, TACS probably at least sustains itself, and actually throws off a little money of its own. I doubt subs will be hurt to much from this kerfuffle.

It's not like for normal people, where getting arrested (or, worse, convicted) will probably cost you your job and you're living paycheck-to-paycheck or on meager savings. The dude's got a cushion.

I doubt he'll see any jail time and agree that a conviction of DV won't destroy him but I don't see him being very happy or secure having to give up his guns. Even a misdemeanor conviction of DV will cost him his guns. His lawyer definitely has his work cut out for him.

I would be astonished if he didn't plead guilty in exchange for a deal. If he does, there's no way he's doing any time.

The one sticking point might be the guns; as you observed, he's not going to want to give those up. It very probably depends on how much juice his attorney has with the DA -- I'd imagine that Ant probably hired a good one with a good reputation. I think there's a way for them to work out a deal that lets him keep his guns (a criminal lawyer that practices in NY was on here talking about it before -- I think it's structured as a plan in anticipation of dismissal or something, wherein he has to be a good boy for a certain period of time and then the charges are "dropped" without a conviction). I'll be interested to see if it's offered.

If he goes to trial he's crazy unless he's got some really hard evidence that he's innocent -- like the cameras in his house clearly show that he didn't put his hands on her and he can get that evidence in. He's facing hard time if he rolls the dice.

Those deals where you can clear the conviction after completing probation are usually done for petty crimes like shoplifting. I doubt he'll get that kind of deal but who knows.
