Based on the injury to Dani's hand and the unlawful imprisonment charge, I'm thinking they were both hammered, Dani somehow discovered a new dalliance of Ant's or some other nonsense ("Then you shouldn't have lied!"), she then tried to storm out and drive off with more Guinness in her veins than blood, and Ant attempted to restrain her. Altercation ensues, her hand is hurt, she starts Periscoping.

Eh? It's the only plausible scenario I can come up with. Knowing Ant's distaste for confrontation and uncomfortable moments, I can't imagine what other motive he would have to keep Dani at his house after they'd had a Nicolini-level blowout.

I agree. Dani probably tried to drive away dead drunk, and Ant restrained her for her own good, they strugged, she fell and hurt herself, then accused him of doing it.

Everyone going on about how Ant doesn't like confrontation is an idiot. From the video you can clearly see how drunk he was and we've seen before how belligerent he can get in that state. With Dani intentionally trying to push his buttons to invoke a reaction for filming and his inhibitions lowered from all the drinking he could have easily served her some compound justice.
