County jail can suck just as much as prison. There's murderers and rapists next to people with drug charges all waiting to be processed and sent to prison.
Can confirm - jail is as bad and IMO worse than prison. Jail is often a big room full of everyone from disturbing fuckers, full-time thugs, drunk/druggies, unpredictable behavior and people getting very annoyed, nervous and going into smoking withdrawals.
