Call them and find out for yourself. I don't know if they do hold court on Sundays, I've never been in a court room in my life. But you don't even need to talk to verify the recording with my call- just listen to the voice who answers, it's the same woman. Or just man up and ask them yourself - it's not illegal to do so, you're not gonna get in trouble. The phone number is public and on their facebook.

Well, someone posted a thread without a recording saying they called minutes before this. If true, the dude who answered had just recently looked it up anyways. Or maybe someone recognized the name. Anyone with a certain amount of fame being arrested would spread it's way around the facility pretty quickly.

I definitely see why you'd be skeptical, but the guy probably got a call about it from the other guy in this subreddit a few minutes before, so he just knew. He just figures oh it's his nephew, who knows? But the reason I called was I was skeptical of the other guy too, so someone else needs to call.

Perhaps but that sounds like a pretty seamless transition from "dispatch"" to "officer". I dont know this is starting to feel like a well staged hoax. Also there are 7 precincts in Nassau county and I dont believe that the dispatch identified which one it was so again that might be another slip up.
