Since Danny's kayfabe turn here, I've done a total 180 on Kenny. It shed a whole new light on the Kenny vs Danny fight, and now Danny doesn't seem quite as much of a butthurt douchebag as he did the first time I heard it.

I also used to marvel at how Danny couldn't realize he was cancer, given he had gotten into it with nearly every member of the staff. Then looking through old shows on Youtube, I realize Kenny's been just a contentious and just as likely to cause drama.

I think Jimmy pays him when he helps with stand-up shows, but I'm pretty sure Sirius pays him. Everyone there works for Sirius, Opie, Anthony, and Jimmy didn't cut checks for employees, unless it was for things unrelated to the show. Ron and Fez had a Kenny equivalent they called Master Po, and he was definitely paid by Sirius

Yes it's true. They had 3 security guys Kenny who was strictly with O&A master po who was mostly with O&A and sometimes Ron and Fez and this guy Ron called Master Joe obviously a play on Master Po. The security was very lax at that old building. You could just walk in the door take the elevator and you were in the studio. There was no security guarding the door on the street.

When they moved to the Sirius building they dumped everyone except for Kenny because Sirius has security all over.
