Jim and Ant would rib on Denny like they would anyone else. Opie would/will always take it too far by breaking down Denny's unaccomplished career. What an asshole. Denny comes prepared for when the company needs him and is professional and knowledgable in what he does. Opie has NO PROBLEM telling EVERYONE that Denny is not as successful as he is, while he and fat Stangel bully him around. Good for Denny today with that great line!!! Maybe Denny should have got two very, very funny people and did a show with them, while he broke stuff on occasion he would be making millions.

He's nothing like the Titster, Denny has talent. It's a weird and increasingly irrelevant talent from the 70's, but everybody was impressed when he did those intros 'up to the post'. It's an actual skill. Plus he can obviously take a joke. He just seems like a nice human being.

How is Denny like Opie? Denny is a near-encyclopedic music historian and ACTUALLY PROFESSIONAL broadcaster with excellent production talent. Opie is a loser who got lucky.

Exactly. Sure Denny is a fucking weirdo but if you were put them independently into a radio studio and say, "Do a show," Denny would get it done. Opie would shit in the corner and wipe his ass with the microphone.
