He reminds me of the class stoner during high school PoliSci class. "These fat cats are all in bed with the same people, man. The answers are right in front of you... if you just open your eyes." Eugh.
"By summarily concluding that everyone sucks, I get to sound above-it-all without having to actually educate myself on who stands for what. Done and done. Now I've freed up the rest of my day for watching Dancing With The Stars or whatever. Where ah -- where you at with the Dancing With The Stars? Oh Snowy wants in badly -- SNOW-AYYYYY!"
he's never going to learn that his douchey "not giving a fuuckkkkkk" attitude he "portrays" is what makes him so hateable. If he actually didn't give a fuck about things the term "Greggshells" wouldn't exist.
Opie lie around 2:30. He's always said he's never voted. Here he says "I always vote outside the democrat and republican parties." Because Burr is saying that's what you should do. Then he catches himself right away and says "I may go with the no-vote thing again."
The only thing i got from it is that whereas the room used to be a bastion for ball busting and calling people out, that type of behavior is now met with awkward silence and palpable tension.
I actually enjoyed it. It's unfortunate that Bill didn't push him for longer than seven minutes, but it was nice to hear somebody finally tell Sherrod to quit coonin' around so much.
Sherrod is the guy who never has anything good to say, his brain just goes ''you should say something, it's been a while'' every 3 minutes. So he just throws out these sentences that don't mean anything like ''Yeah, that's the way world works'', ''Well, corruption, yeah'' and ''That's your president''. Love when someone finally goes asks 'What the fuck are you trying to say, Sherrod'
Perfect example of this is last week they were talking about the Trump Muslim comments. A caller brought up that some immigrants do get checked more carefully for terrorist ties. Sherrod clearly NEEDED to add something, so he replied by saying "black people". This has zero relevance to what the caller was talking about, but Sherrod needed to say something and why not make it a black thing also? He is the worst, he and Opie deserve each other.
OPIE. SHUT UP. He derailed what could have been an all-time great beat down. He's regressed to the point where he doesn't even recognize entertaining radio when it's right in his face.
He could never recognize good radio. If he did the show would never have changed. It's the same as how he changes his mind to agree with someone's opinion. He NEVER liked any of the shit the show did. It was because all the others liked it. Why else would he do a 180 on his opinion of uncle paul? I bet we will hear him changing his mind on everything soon. First I'm betting will be Radio Holes... there no way his wife likes that whole thing. He will start scrubbing his pre 2015 self more and more
I don't like how comfortable Sherrod is around Burr. I wish Sherrod had come in when Burr had someone else like Bobby or Vos in. They would've torn him a new asshole.
Opie always has to force his way in even when he has absolutely nothing.
"I'm gonna call up Bill Burr and find out who the third guy is, cause I DON'T KNOW WHO IT IS!"
Then Bill talks. Then opie again:
"I don't know who the third guy is, but I'm gonna TEXT BILL BURR AND FIND OUT WHO IT IS! [laughs hard at himself]"
This fucking muttonhead literally just repeats himself in the middle of that thinking that he's adding something. I'm pretty sure in his mind, when he says something and no one responds to it, he assumes no one heard him and if he says it again, they'll be sure to respond. Because how could it be possible that no one would acknowledge such a great contribution?
That's one of his worst traits. They heard you Opie. It just wasnt funny and added nothing to the conversation. Better repeat it, it surely will get a laugh. Isn't that like an unwritten rule with comedians? Don't repeat your joke/punchline.
Opie is a halfwit. He is exactly what any douchebag intern would turn into if given chance after chance with someone with superior comedic talent. He's so damn, he thinks because his name is in the title that the guests and audience want to hear about his opinions during an interview. He literally is the worst interviewer I've ever heard. I can't think of any interviewer who talks more about himself than the person he's interviewing.
And I get he wasn't interviewing Burr, but it's in the same spirit.
There's also a bit later on where Bill says something about former presidents being looked after by corporations and Opie's next move is to just rephrase Bill's statement in a less concise, less insightful way.
Plus Sherrod lives in NY which is a state where his vote truly doesn't matter. It's overwhelmingly a blue state so whether he shows up to vote or not the Democratic candidate wins NY.
He's as hateable as a dead paedophile comedian who got away with raping a thousand children throughout his 1970's British light entertainment career. Op'll fix it!
Yeah, Sherrods idiotic non statement really is an East coast thing. Stop shoe horning irrelevant shit because you had no where better to put it. Retard.
I can't blame Bill for not saying shit back. Sharrod really tries to be a vague Patrice without any logic and when Bill called him out and tried to make him explain, sharrod shut down. Good job Bill, you made black Opie shut the fuck up with his empty and useless "jokes".
Opie was one of those kids who was dork in school and showed up one day as a guido out of nowhere with the 8 ball jacket, acid wash jeans, and pure white Reeboks.
Opie with a classic Op-Pinion -- "Who are you voting for, Op?" "Oh, geeze I don't I can't even --" and then someone else says that none of the choices are that great. "It's the CHOICES that are the problem, in the end. Sniff."
My god what a one trick pony this cocksucker is. It all boils down to 'this is why white people is crazy, haha!' Fucking vapid hack. He is the worst guest they've ever had on and I would take the pit bull of comedy over him.
Wait, Bill Burr is on O&J Today? Wonder if he'll stop by on TACS. BTW this audio is the shit. Fucking love Bill Burr, bout time someone called out Sherrod on his bullshit. BTW is he really a black dude?

Bill Burr attacks with the truth of the moment. people afraid of the the truth of the moment end up burying themselves in a deeper hole. Billy was willing to take a hit and that SHErod wasn't
Burr deserves a good ripping on the "vote for a third party" angle, but everyone in the studio and this sub is completely missing it. It's also odd to me how all of you circle jerk the "sherrod sucks" angle, but his politics are almost always on the foxnews, right wing side of every issue, which most if you usually love. Meanwhile Burr gets ripped for leaning liberal or libertarian, but this time he's he hero, for telling people to vote for the Nader, Perot types?
Do you have any idea whatsoever how incredibly stupid you look accusing people of "circle jerks" while admitting you'd only ever vote for one of a maximum two parties?
I don't look stupid at all. Voting for a 3rd party is beyond stupid at this point. The people who voted for Perot would have much rather hand HW. Bush than Clinton. The people who voted for Nader would have much rather had Gore than W. Bush. Bill Burr's point was a stupid one, and no one in that room was smart enough to call him out on it.
If a 3rd party can get up to 10% one year, one might get up to 15 or 20 in a later year, because that 10% will have proven to potential candidates that a 3rd party is viable and desired by people.
I have a feeling you have less than $1000 in your bank account. Most people who can't imagine thinking more than 6 or 12 months ahead of the present they currently exist in usually do.
Not to mention everyone was bashing Burr here previously over his apparent non support of Ant, being a "cuck", pussy whipped, etc. Opinions here switch on the fly. While Bill is a funny guy and was right to question Sherrod he's still an ass who has no idea how politics work himself.
