Anthony has said many times how terrible he feels sometimes leaving the show. He regrets some of the things he's said and done to people. One time Opie said all surprised: "Noo you don't!?" Of course, cos he never feels bad about anything!

He wasn't the talent in the room, and everyone knew it. But he WAS "The Destroyer".

Opie laughed it up during every jocktober, or when he turned the pests on some other radio show for other reasons (Maxwell, Jim Phillips, Terry Clifford during the March Radio Madness thing, etc.), and he's generally mean-spirited. He built a career on that. Now the same misanthropic fan base that he cultivated is turning on him and giving him a taste of that same medicine, and he's handling it astonishingly poorly.
