Maybe he meant that they were getting along better than a couple of years before, but he wasn't ready to discuss things yet. I'm not defending him. He's a hypocrite for continuing.
They sounded like they hated each other 2009-2013 but they did seem to “not hate each other” through that time, especially after the Bennington interview.
