Kurt is a genius but I don't support what he is doing.

Playing with the emotions of the easily manipulated trolls here and on twitter is entertaining, but he is slowing the process of Opie's inevitable breakdown. Let us not forget the noble cause of inciting a sensitive, millionaire radio host to wear uncomfortably warm hats indoors, so that a talented photoshopper can't draw attention to his thinning hair. A post about Kurt is a wasted opportunity for a post about Opie. He's reading this right now and the children he is raising were born of Bam's seed.

Judging from the absurd autism displayed by Kurt and the amount of replies he's posting, the only one whose emotions are being easily manipulated are his.

Yeah the posters synopsis is backwards, we don't give a shit about being blocked or called "skinny white suburban kids" he's made himself a target by blindly defending Opie and taking the hate that comes along w/it, then when a random account gets a wallop in he blocks them and claims racism. SJWship at its finest gents. He's become what he hates. Edit: I disagree w/the first part of posters' statement, the latter is spot on.

Kurt has these ridiculous twitter frays every other week, it isn't the big deal that half of the sub are excitedly making it out to be. Every tweet he made is the kind of thing that he knows will get to these reactionary dummies, and it's working. He has successfully manipulated the hate. Can people forget this shit and stop giving Opie a day off?

I miss the days when the word "genius" wasn't overused and applied to each and every level of the food chain...

Also, "iconic".

Like cuck?

Let me guess. You also hate the overuse of "hilarious"?

No. Humor and what one personally finds "hilarious" is subjective.

Kurt seems like he would have been one of us if he knew all the shit OPIE has pulled over the years, I don't understand his blind love for Opie. This subreddit has been consistently funnier this past year than OPIE has since he signed with xm 15 yrs ago.

Agreed but I don't think it's a blind love as much as just maintaining a professional relationship with someone who has never directly wronged him, and an informed contempt for the kind of douche fans that pollute twitter with their nonsense entitlement to responses from public figures, etc.

  1. He has a professional relationship with him.

  2. He probably wasn't an O&A listener and has nothing invested in it the way we do.

I hate Opie as much as anyone around here, but to expect the same from people who don't really listen to him or his show is crazy to me.
