Seriously? What is the plot/premise/idea/theme of the Opie with Jim Norton Show? Is it a show where they just talk about news headlines? Because that seems to be what it has turned in to.. It's like they are just trying to kill time.. Are they doing the bare minimum until their contracts are up? It really seems like nobody on the show is trying at all..

And I'm not hating.. Although, I don't think Opie is funny, I think he can be a really good radio host when he tries.. The ONLY recent example I can think of, of Opie doing good work, was several months ago when X-Pac was on the show.. Opie did a great job of moving that show along and keeping it entertaining, without him contributing anything except direction.. When he is contributing his own thoughts/ideas during the show, is when it goes bad..

Jimmy is hilarious when there is another comic or good guest in the room to motivate him to bring his A-Game..

It's just sad hearing them talk for 3 hours about news headlines.. It probably wouldn't be so bad if they were only on once a week.. but doing it 4 days a week is torture.
