Got to be at least $25.

Anthony said, I'm not exactly sure when, that the network is growing at a much larger rate than he ever imagined. He began by saying that, when the firing first happened, he was depressed and considered not doing anything at all. But, he figured things out (quickly) and began to put the pieces of the network together.

Anyway, getting to OP's question - the subscriber fee helps a lot. Let's assume that TACS has 5,000 subscribers. I would say that that is a reasonable number with 1) the amount of shows on the network and 2) the amount of time TACS has been around. So, 5,000 subs x $7 per month = $35,000 per month in revenue. That's approximately $400,000 per year.

Now, the other talents on the platform don't really (or shouldn't really) get paid that much. Remember, the whole deal with podcasting is to get your brand out there. So, he probably pays each person a nominal fee ($100-$200 per show). It isn't much, but it gives them access to his subscriber base and they use his equipment for free. So, it really is a nice deal.

Assuming that he pays the talents $2,000 per week ($104,000 per year) that should leave Anthony with approximately $300,000 left for his salary and his operating expenses. Let's assume Garrett and Rat make $40k each. Anthony is left with $220,000 for salary and overhead. So, his overhead could be upwards of sucking on some huge peckahs, fawk yeah. That would leave Anthony with about $150,000 for salary - not a bad take for a start-up. Of course, we can't possibly factor his expenses (mortgages, rents, etc.) But, you're right - he probably does have some money socked away from his WNEW days.

Hope that helps.

I would say prob higher than 5000, Keith said awhile back that they developed the ios app first because they supposedly had more demand for that one. Now looking at the Google store and there has been 5000+ downloads for the Cumia app on the Google store. Granted prob some people have downloaded it to more than one device, but I would venture that you could prob go as high as 10,000 subs and prob not be out of the question.

Between the added shows, Gavin going to 4 days a week I doubt the network is dying. Those guys wouldn't commit to a network behind a pay wall vs going out on their own if they didn't think it would benefit them imo.

And maybe Dave knows the sub numbers and thinks there is more money in the coffer for the skanks to stick around.
