Ant said on his show yesterday that tits has always looked at himself as being above the fans. Went to fan events as soon as the show was scheduled to begin and left directly after show ended.
I always assumed this was the case... Greggshells ruined the string of live events they tried to start in the final years of SXM by demanding a "event appearance fee" like he was a celebrity or some shit. They did Cleveland, Chicago and Montreal and had a few other places planned but it all stopped when he became a diva about getting paid extra. He also flew home days earlier than the rest of the staff because he was mad he was away from his family "for the show."
This isn't just opinion either because it's stuff that's been said over the years or admitted by Opie himself on air.

The 2nd animation festival was canceled because tits demanded a $10k appearance fee. When management declined, opie went on air slamming siriusxm for canceling the event, not disclosing it was due to his $10k demand. Fuck it pisses me off in hindsight I tolerated him for so long.
