I started listening to this show through Stevie Knight uploads on YouTube, and I thought it was absolutely hilarious.
I love Louis C.K., and I must have listened to all of those episodes over and over. Most recently I gourged myself on the audio of Patrice discussing movies for 12 hours.
When I was listening to these old clips I thought that the community must have loved this series, because it was hilarious. Hearing them mention the "Pest Attacks" (as recently as Ty Bentli stealing Whip 'em Out Wednesdays), and you could really tell they loved their fans as well (and hated a lot of them, too).
I think it's disappointing that things went down as they did, and I lament the fact that the show will likely never be the same as it was, but I think you guys need to grow up a little bit and realise that while you give Opie shit for being "old" and out of touch, how out of touch are you guys for investing so much energy in what people do in a radio show that has had it glory days pass it by?
There are great ways to enjoy Opie and Anthony, Opie Radio, and Anthony's show, but ask yourself this: is your hobby talking about the people and their shows, or listening to them?
Have you ever heard a jocktober segment? Ever heard them mention what happens to the Facebook page? These are those people, man. You think they care what you have to say?

I think alot of folks here are more interested in the subreddit than the show. Up until the Jimmy/Opie fight the other day, I've listened to maybe a total of 2 hours of Oqie Raqio since Ant left. But I check this sub every day.

Opie destroyed any chance of reconciliation over a parody account with 321 followers.

I didn't find the account to be that funny in all honesty. It was quite juvenile, and not exactly razor sharp wit.

I'm interested in a snapshot of how many followers it had.

I don't think anybody expected it to be taken down right away. Sorry.
