I tuned in a bit late....where was Jimmy? Is this what the show will be like when Jimmy leaves? This shit sucked.
I've been overly nice to Opie throughout all the controversy, but if this is what the new show is, and it doesn't have Jimmy- I simply can't listen to it. Florentine's voice puts me to sleep. The 'crazy' part of the show was a guy that was drunk the night before, and didn't get enough shut eye before got on the radio. Woah there Cake-Crusher....you don't want to lose any sponsors pulling shenanigans like that. Ant did (and does) that everyday without think it's worth mentioning. We got to listen to small talk between Opie and his old friend. We got to listen to a hockey player tell us how tough he is and how they are the most gifted athletes because they do everything on a specialized shoe that was originally designed for a ladies-only "sport", figure skating. As a fan of Mma I found this completely laughable.
The rest of the show is kinda a blur. I left it on in the background secretly hoping Jimmy was finally going to finish dropping a log and would return with a hilarious story about his shitting troubles... It never happened.
The New Opie Radio... Radio so edgy it could cut your ears, or at least make you consider cutting them off.
