/u/drsteve103 can you give us any type of info on Lady Di's condition?

This sub has a very warped sense of humor and I enjoy a good knock knock joke or crank call as much as the next guy. But I think that phone call this morning really bummed everyone out and we really are concerned about Lady Di.

She's suffering from fluid in her fluid, it's actually serious as having too much fluid can actually fluid the fluid fluid.

He probably can't because of HIPAA. He is a doctor and at one time he was trying to help her get treatment that means she was under his care so he can't just tell the world what's going. Doing that would violate her privacy.

This

Can you tell us if it involves fluids?

would it be possible to send you a get well card that could be relayed to her? her bits & internship were what got me listening to the show regularly right before everything ended. she may be a clueless waterbuffaler, but she's our clueless waterbuffaler & even the heartless bastards of this sub really are upset with how she was talking during that call.

Absolutely

Might be better to post this at /r/drsteve

I worked with some Navy vets at a nursing home that thought they were back on their ships. I think it was the long halls with shiny linoleum floors.

She had psychosis and chronic alcoholism which spiraled out of control when Bill died and tits wouldn't let her on the show anymore. And now she has dementia and is on a cocktail of anti-depressants, anti-psychotics, and tranquilizers and living on another planet in a psych ward. That would be my best guess on her mental state, I'm sure her other major organs are all shot too.

He said on twitter today that he'll clue everyone in at the appropriate time. Sounds like we'll be waiting a bit.

/u/drsteve103 doctor doctor, give me the news. I've got a bad case of...

FAWKING PECKAZ!!!!! TSSSSSCHHKK

Link to call?

Yikes

Goddamnit, people.

Between this and people incessantly asking Dr. Steve on Twitter what the story is, how many times does Dr. Steve have to say "Can't say" or "I'll tell you later" for it to sink in. He's bound by HIPAA and he can't say shit about it or he can get in serious trouble.

He's not going to spill the beans, and he may never really be able to if he doesn't get permission from any of the parties involved to say it. Lady DI probably can't even give him permission because she's not legally fucking competent. He's not going to risk his ability to practice medicine to tell a bunch of people on the Goddamn internet that a water buffaler drank herself crazy and died.

exactly. It's a sad situation, and I thought Opie was too ham-handed with the silly questions that could have conceivably made her cognizant of her actual life.

And in a weird way, Lady Di is such a sweet (and oblivious) person that she never seemed to take it too personally and still loved all of the guys. Which just makes Opie's conduct seem even worse. It went from something that was part of the show to something just... mean.

Are we concerned? She abandoned her son so she could suck dicks for beer money.

Who hasn't?

Jimmy. He did it for free.

Yeah, but enough about two weeks ago.

The phone call sure didn't bum me out because I have no fucking idea what you're talking about.

Thanks for the silent, still image
