The best thing about The Opester's "perspective".

He incessantly harps on how the show was done because he and Anthony's chemistry was gone and he felt inadequate watching everyone else having fun and "chemistry". Fun he couldn't keep up with and understand (which is anything more complex than throwing cherries at buttholes). Every time he brings this up to anyone involved in the show at that time they react in complete surprise, because they were having fun. The fans of the show at the time also don't empathize with this take of "lost chemistry" because they as well enjoyed that show.

So Anthony, Norton, the production crew, and the fans were "all in" with the show pre-Anthony's firing, EVERYONE except for Opie. And in his beautiful autistic, denial based narcissistic fashion, The Opester cannot negotiate in his brain that he was the one element not happy with the show. That it is in this manner all his fault. And whenever anyone says anything hinting towards anything being his fault he goes into cunty defense mode with "It's all my fault. Everything is my fault always" self-pity defense to try and guilt people into "leaving it alone".

It's simple arrhythmic. When everyone in the group is fine and you are the outlier, you are the problem. It takes mental illness to always see the field as the problem and always see yourself as an innocent victim.

"Why do they hate me when they've never met me?"

We all know "you". Everyone deals with an "Opester" in their lives.

"Why did we lose our chemistry/why don't they laugh or show interest in my comments?"

Because maybe, just maybe, you are the problem, the outlier. You're in over your head Opester. "You're out of your element Donnie...Shut the fuck up!" Go start a show with the Philly Crew and "absolutely kill it" in that element fucktard.

We all, and those involved with the show liked/loved the show in the "lack of chemistry" incarnation you speak of Opester. You were the only "hater". Now this new thing you have that "management loves", the fans don't, the cast doesn't. As Norton explicitly stated, he has to do it for income, the thrill is blatantly gone. Gone for everyone except you of course Opester. And that's all that matters in the end, because it is all about you, and magically even though it is all about you, you bear no responsibility or fault. It's a paradox isn't it?

Exactly, he's so insane that when he felt like he was out of the loop and couldn't keep up with the riffing that the resolution was that the show needed to end. Not him just retiring and letting the show continue, no, the show has to stop. It's like someone in the NFL turning 35 and instead of retiring he tries to get everyone in the NFL to stop playing or just run slower. He's a self centered moron.

Instead of Peyton Manning retiring or going to another team to be an albatross, he expects the Broncos to go defunct.

He was probably deathly afraid of entering a podcast situation with Ant and Jimmy.

Ant: So Jimmy and I do a majority of the riffing and you just sort of bring up topics and take calls so... we're feeling a 45/45/10 split on this one.

Opie is what it would be like if Fez thought he was Ron

This is incredibly funny and insightful. I mean Fez, for all his diagnosed mental illness and complete narcissism, saw that he was the problem and removed himself. Then Ron made the call that the show, as we knew it was over, and that he would do something else. Fez definitely stayed too long after becoming a hindrance, but he eventually figured out that Ron was still funny and Fez sucked, so Fez had to go. Had Opie done that, we would all be happier right now. I always thought that Opie should have left years ago to do a music show on the alternative stations. Those people would probably love someone who goes so deep with the Pearl Jam. "Jimmay! Where ya at with the Pearl Jam?!" "I TOLD YOU 15 TIMES I DONT REALLY LIKE THEM YOU DEAF CUNT!!!!!"

This deserves its own post

The fucking guy literally said "The show was just over. Not for you, not for Ant, not for the listeners, but for me." The fact that he could say that with a straight face and mean it is absolutely astounding. It's the type of statement you make in shameful reflection ("Shit, it was really only over for me, I guess I'm the problem."), but shithead titty boy used it as an argument.

Or head the Rochester with the Wease.

Last paragaph was spot on. The show "as he knew it" was over because he was no longer involved, yet it was working perfectly fine with Ant & Jim. So of course the most logical thing to do is to end it, and refigure it out so that he's involved again, instead of just sticking with what was working, because he felt it was over for him, so instead of getting rid of him, get rid of everything else. Fuckin no-talent piece of shit.

I apologize. I wrote the original post prior to listening to Anthony addressing this new Opeshit. I obviously completely agree with Anthony here, but my thoughts in the post are my own and not influenced by Mr.Cumia since, as I stated, I came to these thoughts prior to hearing Mr.Cumia's take.
