I guess it could be assperger's, I don't know. But it's one or the other or both or something. I think you're making the mistake of assuming that people who are like that are like idiot savants, where they are dumb and awkward at most things but really good at one thing. You can be autistic and still be smart, dumb, and anywhere in between. Hence, why I believe Opie is autistic on top of just being incredibly stupid.
