honestly, al jazeera is the best out of all of them. it looks good in HD, the formatting on the screen is clean, you don't see 7 different things scrolling at the bottom, and they have a professional delivery
the qataris are much more politically connected with the west than they are with anyone else so their coverage of the asia pacific region and south america is really unbiased and high quality. That 101 East documentary show they put on their youtube page is really good. They also have really good english language debates with unbelievably high level government officials and so forth. Just like everywhere else they aren't going to report honestly on themselves or their neighbor, but the actual production quality at jazeera is totally unmatched by any of the american outlets.
That's because they don't have to adhere to production budgets, broadcast competition or staff rights. A show on msnbc will stop production if an intern feels sad about new graphics looking better than the ones she made last week because she cried on facebook.
It is interesting that suicide bombing seems to be on the way out. I guess the filthy towelheads figured out they weren't as effective as shooting. Fucking awful people.
I was following Ant on twitter and I was hoping for something interesting but it immediately turned retarded between Anthony and Ann Coulter. They both started blaming the recent influx of refugees for all of this.
You could make the argument all these muslim refugees from syria will settle into european countries, never integrate, and eventually the first generation or their kids could become terrorists - but I doubt I doubt some refugee from Syria escapes the war in 2014, makes a 1000 mile journey, then suddenly has a change of heart decides they in fact DO like war, they DO like violence, and decides to shoot up a metal concert.
The whole "refugees were behind this" was kind of retarded and I had to bail. These were likely home grown native muslim terrorists who probably spoke french and lived there for at least a few years.
I believe your sentiment however it's pretty silly to think you can sift through refugee and terrorist while you've got your hands full with taking in 10s of thousands of refugees. Countries that did this kind of opened themselves up to the possibility. Although, it's not like it couldn't have happened had they not taken in refugees so...what are ya gonna do...

GREECE'S TSOKAS SAYS PARIS ATTACK SUSPECT REGISTERED AS SYRIAN REFUGEE ON LEROS ISLAND IN OCTOBER -- ANTENNA NEWS (via @YanniKouts )
I think tensions will continue rising throughout Europe as more and more migrants move in and things like these continue to happen. It is only going to get worse.
if it turns out actual ISIS refugees were involved in this instead of al qaeda type sleeper cells, then Ant would only be correct by chance. Ant and Ann Coulter didn't connect the dots between refugees and these attacks with any kind of thoughtful, logical, analysis - their twitter discussion was just rhetorical and hysterics.

I really only said that in the attempt a witty come back, as far as I know Al Jazeera is a pretty reputable news source.

It's funny how their image was changed from Al Qaeda's official news source to a respectable news outlet over the last decade or so.

If half the crowd had guns. ..blah blah ..we get it

Not untrue, though.

They probably would have doubled down on the suicide bombs instead.

Can we have an open and honest discussion about self promotion?

That's all true, but I'm willing to bet that brmlb's assessment is correct and these shitheads had been in France for awhile.
3 Zenaesthetic 2015-11-14
It has come out they have been in France for a while. It wasn't off the boat Syrians orchestrating this elaborate plan of carnage.

Likely, if they continue to be taken into individual countries en masse without wider dispersal.

That's cute. You still refer to them as refugees.
2 panjshirlion 2015-11-14
In fairness, most of them are. It's just easy for ISIS sympathizers to slip in by taking advantage of large-scale asylum.
