I think part of it is the amount of influence she has on society now for doing nothing creative at all. She's just the newest comedienne to break out into the mainstream to help make women think that they can seriously be as funny as men. Trainwreck was doomed even without Amy's involvement, Judd Apatow films have been bad for almost 10 years.
Perhaps I wasn't clear. Lots of us claim to hate everything about Amy Schumer, but these same people proceed to describe her latest movie because they actually went to see it. I don't understand this.

A lot of the guys mentioned they watched it with their girlfriends/wives. People actually wanted to give it a chance and they were disappointed.
